Binaural Beat & Stereo Tone Generator
In standard binaural mode, one tone is sent to the left ear and a slightly different tone is sent to the right ear. The difference between those tones is the binaural-beat frequency. Independent Ear Control lets you choose both ear frequencies separately.
Use stereo headphones for channel separation and the intended binaural effect. Keep the volume comfortable. If any tone feels uncomfortable, lower the volume or stop playback.
Beat Presets
Choose a preset or create your own difference below. Preset names describe common listening uses rather than guaranteed effects.
Carrier Tone
Choose a starting tone or set any custom carrier from 80Hz to 1000Hz. In standard binaural mode, the right ear is automatically calculated from this carrier plus the beat difference.
Independent Left / Right Ear Tones
Turn this on to choose a completely separate frequency for each ear. For example, you can send 174Hz to the left ear and 528Hz to the right ear.
Left Ear
Tone sent to the physical left stereo channel.
Right Ear
Tone sent to the physical right stereo channel.
Difference: 8Hz — this is also the binaural-beat difference.
When the tones are close together, their numerical difference is the binaural-beat difference. If you choose frequencies that are far apart, the generator is simply playing two independent stereo tones. This tool does not claim that particular frequencies diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, monitor or manage a health condition.
